Our digital signage software does work digital media players with Windows XP or higher. There are two pieces of software that run - and both are downloaded off of our web site. The monitoring program (the one that is normally installed) stores the username and password along with videos to the "hard drive". We can set it up so that the drive is a thumb drive or other type of electronic storage. If your "hard drive" does not save the information during a reboot, then you would need to install each time the pc reboots (generally every few months a windows xp machine should be rebooted). We can also have the system just run the signage playback component (the other piece of software that does not save anything to a hard drive - just memory). Normally the signage monitoring program stops and restarts the signage software every 8 hours or so just to keep things running smoothly. It normally can run for several days without issue. If you setup some sort of automatic reboot and load, we could make that work too.
